Boston Herald/ Pierce Media Group – Rindge, New Hampshire and Boston, Massachusetts  

 

Through Franklin Pierce I worked the Iowa Caucus and the Republican National Convention. While at the Iowa Caucus I wrote and produced compelling investigative and human interest stories about the O'Malley family and his campaign. The story and film on the O'Malley's was published by the Boston Herald. I also had film from Clinton rallies published by the Boston Herald. While at the RNC I was able to interview the chairman of the New York Republican State Committee, Ed Cox.

I supervised a team of seven editors and cameramen and had to coordinate when employees would be working. Produced over fifty television and digital news segments each two to six minutes. Supervised a team of seven editors and camera-operators.

I attended Franklin Pierce for four years while at school I played four years of varsity lacrosse. I traveled through the school to study frequently. While at school I traveled to Ireland for two weeks and study the local culture. Through the Mass Communication department, I traveled to cover campaign events. I took film and media studies, broadcasting, news writing, Radio and TV News, and Arts and entertainment management coursework.
